Festival du voyageur

At about 9:00 we went to the Festival du voyageur. We went on a school bus and the ride was about 1 hour. When we got there me and Jero went sledding. The hill had ice on the track that made us go very very fast. After we went sledding we did a maze. It was very easy but fun. Then after that we went for a horse sleigh ride. It was very bumpy and  two people fell off. They were Aylie and Matteo.Then we went for lunch. I had a frozen pb sandwich but I didn't eat it. Then we walked a bit  and we found a sledding area. It was on tubes!!!Then we found a tug of war spot. My team won a lot. It was fun. Then we heard a story about a voyageur who met a talking beaver  and hunted buffalo. He told us that buffalo were very loud!!!

We went on the bus at 8:50 and when we started to drive at 9:00 and on the bus I sat with Holly and Mrs. Skog. It was a long drive. When we got there we looked at snow sculptures and after we went on a hill and on this long long slide that was so scary and fun! Me and Holly went in the maze and it was made out of snow. I got my face painted and Holly and we both got blue hearts on our faces. The horse sleigh ride was a lot of fun and we went fast and after we got to pet the horse. Aylie and Matteo fell during the ride. A voyageur his name was Ti-Paul read us a story. At the story he told us about his adventure and what happened. It was so fun. We had lunch there and a snack. At warming up time we did arm wrestling. When we went back on the bus I played on my IPad and I took some pictures.

 Yesterday we went to festival du voyageur. We went sledding on a hill made of snow and ice. And me and desiree keeped falling down.And we went to a maze the size of me. we got  to have a horse pull us in a sleigh. I almost fell off. After we played tug-o-war. Then we got face painting   and got to do crafts . We w ent sledding on a tube  after we  got to hear a voyageur tell us a story of one of his adventures it was really cool then it was time to go. We had to take the bus back to morris i had a lot of fun at festival du voyageur . the end

I went to Festival du voyageur. On the bus ride I sat with Matteo. We played rock, paper, scissors. Then we had to remember a number when we  got there. First I went on the ice slide, I fell off. In the picture I was leg wrestling with Jordan. I won!

Festival du voageur

We went to the Festival du voageur and it was awesome! We went sledding on a tobbogan and a tractor tube. On the tractor tube we did a doggy pile. We got our faces painted. We got to do         tug-o-war and also leg wrestiling. We went on a horse ride. We meet a Voageur named       T-Paul read us a story that he made and it was halarias. We did sounds like rain and buffalo. The bus ride back was longer than going there. I want to go there next year.

This week we went skating with the kindergardens. Me and Holly and Andrew had 2 partners to skate with.

 We had 1 girl and 1 boy. Their names are Randy and Lucas. We played tag, we raced and we skated around and tried to play hide and seek. We helped Lucas learn to skate.

Winter Activity Day

On winter activity day we went sledding and snowboarding. We also went skating. Liam did a 360 while snowboarding.  We love winter activity day!!! We had two hotchocolate breaks.  For gym we went outside for 1 hour. It was lots of fun.

It was fun! First we went sledding and then we went in for a cookie and hot chocolate and then we went sakting. It was fun then we went to the computer lab for some free time. Then we went for some more cookies and hot chocolate. Then we went outside for some games. Frist we played four corner soccer. There were four nets. Next we played a game. It has a spoon and you have to scoop the snow and make the biggest mountain in ten mintues. And  then we played a game that a person is a bear and you run away from the bear. If the bear tags you, you have to hold hands. I love winter activity day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Valentine's Day

Today is  Valentine's day.  We  handed out  Valentine's  cards  to  everybody and they  got cards too. Valentine's Day is on February. Jordan gave us fun dip. I got suckers too. Aylie and Noah brought us heart-shaped cookies.

Skating

We love skating. Tomorrow we are going skating with the kindergardens.When we go skating with the kindergardens I hope we have a good time.When we go skating it is super cold but it is fun. Sometimes when we are skating we play soccer hockey. Some people are fast on the ice. Other people are kind of fast. The fast ones are hockey players or figure skaters.

Our earmuffs are fuzzy. They keep our ears warm in the cold! They are really big and cuddly and soft. We like to wear them inside and definitely outside too. We wear them all the time. When we wear them we look almost like twins. And some times Andrew is crazy!!!!!!! AND THEY ARE THE BEST THINGS ON THE EARTH THAT KEEP YOUR EARS WARM!

 We  are learning about magnets in our class. We learned that the earth is one big magnet. There is a north pole and a south pole. The north pole is located on the top of the world the south pole is located at the bottom of the earth. The south and south don't go together, north and north don't go together to but, north and south go together and same as south and north.

Winter activatiy day was fun. We went sledding on the dike in morris me and faith ,desiree tried to go down the hill with 2 people me and faith went first we tried one person frontword and one backwords and we closed are eyes and screem down the hill the hole way down then i went with desiree and we both went backwords and we closed are eyes the then we fell of the hill and faceplanted in to the snow.   after we got  3  hotcolate  breaks and we got cookies with it .

Skating is fun we go to Morris hockey rink.Carl, Stephan and Teagan skate together. We play tag and soccer hockey on the ice. It is soccer on the ice it is hard  to keep the ball on your feet. But it is fun it is also hard to kick it. i like skating because,  I can  skate very fast. We go skating for 1 hour, somtimes 30 minutes.

magnets

We are learning about magnets. Magnets are attracted to some kinds of metal like iron. Some magnets are natural. I sometimes wonder how factories make them. I think they use natural magnets. In class we magnetized a nail. We had to rub the magnet against the nail. We tested to see if it was magnetized or not by checking to see if the nail picked up paperclips.
